Mount Cook Heliski

The single largest heliski area in New Zealand lies at the heart of the Southern Alps -  the Mount Cook Region. Mount Cook Heliski is professionally guided by Alpine Guides, and flown by The Helicopter Line. We specialise in quality, personalised service, away from the crowded and busy Queenstown scene.

Our heliski terrain is a wilderness of ancient glaciers, azure lakes, and endless runs - across 6 mountain ranges. Mount Cook Heliski has runs to suit all levels of heli-ski ability.  We have extensive and exclusive terrain in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. Alpine Guides (Aoraki) Ltd, we are New Zealand’s longest-established mountain guiding company.

Payment

Because Mount Cook Heliski is weather-dependent, your credit card will not be charged until the day of skiing. On the day, you can use a different payment method, if you prefer.

Confirming your Reservation

Our booking system will email you a "pending" booking. We confirm all reservations directly by email as soon as possible after booking.

Heliskiing from Queenstown is added on as an "extra"

If you are on a package from Queenstown we include specific details (like where to meet, timing, etc.) in the confirmation email.
